Mariya Garnet is the co-Founder and Executive Director of Canto Luz Centre for Research and Cultural Preservation - a non-profit ayahuasca retreat in the Peruvian Amazon dedicated to environmentalism, preservation of ancient healing traditions and sustainable living. www.cantoluz.com Mariya facilitates the flow and integration of both retreats and community outreach projects into Canto Luz practice.She was born in Russia and in year 2000 moved to Canada, where, after graduating from Sheridan Institute of Technology, she worked as a camera assistant on film set and created her own independent art projects.
