From the Vitality Food Feature ‘CULINARY SPICES THAT HEAL‘.
(Makes 1⁄2 cup)
- 2 Tbsp cumin seeds
- 2 Tbsp coriander seeds
- 2 Tbsp cardamom seeds
- 1 stick (3 inch/5 cm) cinnamon, broken into small pieces
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 1 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp saffron or safflower petals (optional)
1) Place cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves in a spice mill or coffee grinder and grind to a powder.
2) Stir in nutmeg and saffron.
