When it comes to purifying the air and neutralizing strong odours, Thieves® products provide a full-spectrum “overwhelming force” to cleanse without harsh chemicals. This blend was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated a special aromatic combination during the Black Plague, composed of clove, rosemary, and other botanicals. Thieves® is one of Young Living’s most popular products.

The Thieves® formula is a Young Living proprietary blend that was university-tested at Weber State University. It includes the naturally occurring constituents trans cinnamaldehyde (Cinnamon Bark), limonene (Lemon), and eucalyptol (Eucalyptus Radiata) and Rosemary. These constituents each hold remarkable properties that can be easily found in PubMed studies.

Thieves® formula is a powerful combination of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils for an aromatic blend that fills any space with a rich, spicy aroma.

With the benefits of Thieves oil, including cleaning power and an irresistibly spicy scent, Young Living offers it as an essential oil blend and as an important ingredient in a full range of home cleaning and personal care products, from dish soap to toothpaste.

There are many essential oil studies that show the latest in healthcare benefits, and are worthwhile to investigate, such as “Essential oils of spices and herbs (thyme, oregano, mint, cinnamon, sage, and clove) were found to possess the strongest antimicrobial properties among the many tested.” (D. Kalemba; A. Kunika. Current Medicinal Chemistry. Vol. 10, No. 10. abstract).

When it comes to viruses or any pathogen, it is important to wash your hands and sanitize. Now a new product has been added to the Thieves® line in Canada – the recently registered Thieves® sanitizer. It effectively kills common and illness-causing germs and bacteria. Make sure you keep your hands clean during the influenza season or during any epidemic.

In Missouri, hospitals are using essential oils to prevent and eliminate mould from offices, surgeries, and intensive care units. Another 25 hospitals now use Young Living essential oils and Thieves sanitizers for health care and for disinfecting purposes.
