Cruciferous Juicing recipe

Cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale) are immune building, anti-cancer memory-boosters with tonic, diuretic and detoxifying properties. Cabbage is one of only four vegetables high in vitamin E.

Ingredients

  • 1 stalk broccoli
  • quarter head cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 2 kale leaves or beet tops
  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 lemon, rind removed

1) Pass all ingredients through juicer, whisk in 1 tsp dried cleansing herb.

2) Drink immediately. Makes 1 to 2 servings
