Tahini and Yogurt Appetizer

(Serves 4-6)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 4 Tbsp tahini
  • 4 Tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • pinch cayenne
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped

1) Place all ingredients, except tomato, in a blender and blend into smooth paste. Spread on a serving platter, then decorate with tomato and sprinkle with a little oil before serving.
