Mozi-Q: New Product Keeps Mosquitoes at Bay

Gone is the need to douse yourself in harmful DEET to repel pesky bugs. Calgary homeopath, Erin Bosch, has created the first oral bug repellent, Mozi-Q, an all-natural product recently approved by Health Canada.

In Erin’s homeopathic research she came across a study from the 1960s showing that a combination of homeopathic remedies would help to keep mosquitoes, ticks, and other blood-sucking insects at bay. She decided to try it with her patients, and when they kept coming back for more she realized it was time to formulate the product so it could be shared with the rest of the world and Canada.

“Mozi-Q allows people to enjoy the outdoors without being ‘bugged’,” say Bosch, CEO and Founder of Xerion Homeopathie.

The product is made from staphysagria, a plant-derived substance that in the 1960s was discovered to be a natural insect repellent. While results vary from person to person, 90% of those who take the product have noticed that mozzies, black flies, and other bugs stay away.

Baffling to scientists, some people are more susceptible to bites than others. Some get attacked by bugs while others leave every outdoor party, cottage get-away, or golf game unscathed. Mozi-Q is designed to change a person’s susceptibility to bites so that insects are less likely to prey on them. After taking Mozi-Q, most notice a drastic reduction – if not almost the disappearance of – mosquitoes nipping at their skin. Those usually considered “lunch” by mozzies may still incur a few bites, but the effects subside quickly without the usual suffering and swelling.

A great ally for all outdoor enthusiasts, Mozi-Q will have people chucking the sticky, smelly sprays in the trash and ridding themselves of stinky and smoky bug coils. It’s a great tool  for campers, cottagers, golfers, hikers and anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors. Product features include:

• It works within 30 minutes; No side effects
• It repels mosquitoes and other bugs
• The product can be taken every 2-3 hours starting before you go outside
• Can be used in conjunction with other therapies
