CANADIAN ORGANIC GROWERS (COG)

CANADIAN ORGANIC GROWERS (COG)

A non-profit charity for over 40 years, COG helps farmers, gardeners, and consumers transition to and learn about organic growing and eating. By donating to or volunteering for COG, you give COG the clout to support consumers and growers of organic food. COG chapters present speakers and panel discussions, promote organics at public events, and plan farm trips. By participating in the Toronto Chapter of COG, you can help the organic movement in your area, learn about organic issues, find sources of organic food, and make a difference by improving health and caring for the environment. Watch out for Organic Week, from September 17 to 25, 2016; this is a week-long, national celebration of organic food. And the Toronto Chapter of COG hosts an annual consumer conference in downtown Toronto. Next year’s conference will be held on February 25, 2017.
